Este artículo estudia el problema de la dominación en la sociedad y el Estado en la Filosofía del Derecho de Hegel, sin dejar de contextualizarlo en su concepción de la dialéctica histórica. Siguiendo el “método” hermenéutico, se ha procurado una interpretación de los pasajes medulares de la Filosofía Política hegeliana, enmarcándolos en la estructura de la obra. El desarrollo ha permitido determinar el significado del concepto de dominio, a la vez que pone en cuestión algunas lecturas e interpretaciones parciales del pensamiento del autor. La relación, señalada por Hegel, entre “entendimiento” y dominio permite superar las teorías clásicas que restringen la dominación al ámbito puramente jurídico-político, a la vez que abren ámbitos inéditos de investigación para las ciencias sociales en la comprensión de la relación entre abstracción y dominio, entre fragmentación y opresión.

This article studies the problem of the domination in the society and the State in Hegel’s Philosophy of Law, without stopping of context it in his conception of the historical dialectics. Following the hermeneutic "method", there has been tried an interpretation of the fundamental passages of the Hegelian Political Philosophy, framing them in the structure of the work. The development has allowed to determine the meaning of the concept of domain, and simultaneously that puts in question some readings and partial interpretations of the thought of the author. The relation distinguished by Hegel, between "understand" and domain allows to overcome the classic theories that restrict the domination to the purely juridical - political area, simultaneously that open unpublished areas of investigation for the social sciences in the comprehension of the relation between abstraction and domain, between fragmentation and oppression.
