En octubre de 2016 el Ministerio de Educación y Deportes de la Nación dispuso mediante la Resolución 1870 E/2016 la creación del Sistema Nacional de Reconocimiento Académico de Educación Superior. El presente artículo busca contextualizar la creación de dicho sistema en el marco de las reformas curriculares a nivel mundial, analizar la propuesta del ministerio entendiéndola como una política pública llevada adelante por la Secretaría de Políticas Universitarias y describir algunas de las implicancias curriculares que su implementación trae aparejadas. Para ello, se presentan datos estadísticos y estructurales del Nivel Superior en Argentina, se analizan los principales artículos de la resolución 1870 E/2016 y se introducen algunas tensiones que pueden derivarse de la implementación de la política.

In October 2016, the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Nation established through Resolution 1870 E / 2016 the creation of the National System of Academic Recognition of Higher Education. This article seeks to contextualize the creation of the system within the framesssssswork of curricular reforms around the word, to analyze the proposal of the Ministry as a public policy carried out by the Secretariat for University Policies and to describe some of the curricular implications that its implementation brings rigged. For this, statistical and structural data of the High Education Level in Argentina are presented, the main articles of resolution 1870 E / 2016 are analyzed and some tensions that can be derived from the implementation of the policy are introduced
