La concepción humanista de la pedagogía cubana reconoce a la familia como uno de los factores de mayor incidencia en la educación de la personalidad. Teniendo en cuenta esta premisa y el contexto histórico social y concreto donde se desarrolla la práctica laboral profesional de la autora de este trabajo, se elabora una estrategia de atención educativa para contribuir a la orientación de la familia de escolares primarios que presentan manifestaciones de hiperactividad. Para ello se utilizaron métodos investigativos empíricos, teóricos y matemáticos, los que se sistematizaron con la aplicación de instrumentos y técnicas investigativas, las que permitieron analizar fundamentos teóricos y prácticos entorno a la  orientación familiar y la motivación hacia la actividad de estudio. El trabajo es de suma importancia pues se tiene en cuenta una de las funciones del maestro y de los psicopedagogos: la orientación. Su aporte está en la determinación de las insuficiencias que presenta el proceso de orientación familiar y, en particular, el proceso de orientación a los padres de escolares hiperactivos en correspondencia con el proyecto social cubano y las transformaciones que se operan en la educación primaria, sustentado en la motivación hacia la actividad de estudio.  

The humanist conception of Cuban pedagogy recognizes the family as one of the factors with the greatest impact on personality education. Taking into account this premise and the historical and social historical context where the professional work practice of the author of this work is developed, an educational attention strategy is developed to contribute to the orientation of the family of primary school children who present manifestations of hyperactivity. For this, empirical, theoretical and mathematical research methods were used, which were systematized with the application of research tools and techniques, which allowed analyzing theoretical and practical foundations around family orientation and motivation towards the study activity. The work is of the utmost importance because one of the functions of the teacher and the psychopedagogues is taken into account: orientation. His contribution is in the determination of the insufficiencies presented by the family orientation process and in particular the process of orientation to parents of hyperactive schoolchildren in correspondence with the Cuban social project and the transformations that are operated in primary education, sustained in the motivation towards the study activity.
